01 Current Travel Regulations

The respective country rules apply to entry into the destination area:

The documents required for entry in the destination country (e.g. online registration, health certificates such as vaccination pass, PCR test result) are checked directly at the check-in counter in Salzburg. Passengers who can check-in online and who do not check in baggage can also have their documents checked at the check-in counter or, alternatively, present them at the boarding gate. We recommend that all passengers have their documents to hand at all times.

02 Keep a safe distance from others

We kindly ask you to keep a minimum distance of one meter to both other passengers and our employees. To make this easier for your, floor markings have been applied – especially in the lifts and the queuing areas (check-in, boarding pass control, baggage claim).
Although we have adapted our infrastructure and processes at the airport in order to facilitate keeping a physical distance, there may be times, when you experience a gathering of people, which may make it difficult to keep the distancing rule of one meter.

03 Wearing Mouth-Nose Protection FFP2

We ask you to wear your mouth-nose protection (FFP2) in all indoor areas. Wearing mouth-nose protection is also required in passenger busses, airport vehicles and on the aircraft. We kindly ask you to bring your own protection mask (except for children under 6 years of age as well as persons who must not wear a FFP2 mask for health reasons).

04 Employees

Our staff is required to wear a mouth-nose protection in the terminal, except for areas, where there is a mechanical protection (f.e. plexiglass panel) available at check-in-desks, information desks or the gates.

05 Announcements

In addition to various billboards and displays, we make regular announcements to inform our passengers and visitors about the required rules of conduct. You will also find information in front of the entrances to the terminal as well as on our social media channels.

06 Disinfection & Cleaning

All work places, work equipment as well as the terminal are cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis. The handles in our passenger busses are disinfected after each use. You will find disinfectant dispensers in the terminal in the check-in area as well as right after the security control. In order to be able to disinfect the containers for your hand luggage, you will find disinfecting tissues at the security lanes.
