Air Cargo and Logistics
The cargo terminal located in the eastern part of the airport provides 1,600 square meters of office and 2,300 square meters of storage space. Additional special facilities including two storage areas for hazardous materials as well for refrigeration and freezing, enable the airport to handle special goods.
The Cargo Terminal
The capacity of our facilities allows the airport to handle up to 13,000 tons of air and truck cargo annually.
The core of this air cargo terminal is a roofed 890-square-meter area for unit load device (ULD). This modern facility enables complete handling and storage of cargo pallets under roof.
Cargo arriving on airlines is is transported on airport trucks via a road tunnel under the runway from the main parking position to the cargo terminal, where the shipment is handed over to the customers shortly thereafter.
