At Salzburg Airport two handling agents are responsible for the check-in:

AUSTRIAN / TYROLEAN & Lufthansa

The check-in for scheduled flights with Austrian Airlines Group and Lufthansa generelly starts 90 min. before departure unless the flight is at 06:00 am as the check-in desk opens at 04:45 am. For charter flights with Austrian Airlines Group the desk opens 2 hours before take off, beginning at 04:05 am.

• Business Class: 30 min. before departure
• Economy Class: 45 min. before departure

SALZBURG AIRPORT SERVICES

The S.A.S check-in desk opens two hours before take-off for scheduled flights. The check-in desk for charter flights also opens two hours before take-off, sometimes earlier if needed. For Niki flights at 06.00 am the check-in desk is already open at 04:05 am.
