Air Berlin to get busier in Salzburg

09.08.2010: Air Berlin will expand its network of flights departing Salzburg Airport in Winter 2010/11.

The German company which cooperates with Austrian buget carrier FlyNiki announced it will offer two instead of one daily flight to the German capital Berlin.

Air Berlin also presented two new connections with four weekly flights each to the German city of Hanover and to London-Stansted. These flights will operate from December 2.
Unlike most no-frills airlines, Air Berlin will not charge passengers extra to take ski equipment on this route to Stansted. Customers will also benefit from an additional 20 kg baggage allowance, allocated seating and free food and drinks.
